Welcome to the second edition of the Global PR Blog Week!
In the next five days a group of public relations, marketing and business professionals from around the world will use this blog for publishing a wealth of articles, case studies, and podcast interviews on how public relations and business communications are challenged and changed by new communications technologies like weblogs, wikis, RSS, and podcasting.
You don’t have to be a blogger in order to participate to this event; you don’t have to be a PR or marketing pro to “qualify” for joining us. All you need is a little bit of curiosity, an open mind, and the desire to learn new things and share your experience and knowledge with other people. Skeptics are welcome, too.
The articles we’re going to publish are not lectures; they’re just conversation starters.
Don’t be shy: use the comments section of each article to ask questions, challenge assumptions, suggest solutions, share ideas — or just to leave a comment. Taking a page from Dr. Weinberger’s book, there’s only one rule:
Criticize ideas? Yes. Criticize people for holding those ideas? No.
You can subscribe to comments by e-mail, if you’re interested in following one particular conversation (just check the “Subscribe to comments” box, at the bottom of the comments form, at the end of each article).
Also, you can subscribe by e-mail in order to receive new postings.
If you use an RSS reader — the blog’s feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/globalprblogweek.
If you post about this event on your blog, and you’re using tags, please include a prblogweek tag in your entries.
Questions? Contact us, and we’ll do our best to respond.
Let’s start!
