Yes, Dan -- will send you and anyone who wants to join the formal invite. We are keeping the initial instantiation in a password-protected environment, but we will soon go live on a public wiki.

[...] Giovanni Rodriguez, in the post Groupbytes: Digital/Social Rules for the post-Google Economy, attempts to answer the question, “But how can we all get smarter?” He includes “twelve easy rules” for blogging.
Yes, Jami. Will be happy to invite you and look forward to your contributions.

Marcomblog is a nice example of a community working together to get smarter. Thanks for mentioning them.

Let me start by addressing your question, "But how do we all get smarter?" I began blogging last spring for a public relations class at Auburn University. I enjoyed the assignment but didn't understand the whole concept. However, the more involved I was, the more I learned. Marcomblog, a group of PR/Marcom professionals mentoring students, is the reason that I was inspired to grow in the blogging community. The contributors provide interesting ideas, transparent views and privileged insight. The Reeses Rule, part II is a good start for people who are not otherwise exposed to the online community.

The existence of "reputation systems" is a positive way to incorporate the insider's view. Ebay is a perfect example of how well this system can work. Ebay encourages its customers to think their decision through before leaving a negative rating. This is a smart tactic in rendering those who are prone to negativity and promoting a positive community.

The "twelve rules" are emersed in the depth of the online world. For me, they were print-worthy. The concepts of openness, efficiency and "more inclusive" distinguish the blogging world and place it ahead of the game. I look forward to participating in your new wiki.
